Mark & Meghann’s Joy-Filled Engagement Session in McKinney, Texas

There’s something extra special about photographing people you already know and love, and this engagement session with Mark and Meghann was exactly that 🤍 Meghann and I attend church together, so getting to step into this season of her life in such a meaningful way truly felt like a full-circle moment.

From the very start of their session, it was so clear just how fun-loving and genuine their relationship is. They have the kind of connection that makes everything feel easy. The laughter comes naturally, the smiles are constant, and the way they look at each other says it all. These two don’t just love each other, they enjoy each other, and that joy radiates in every single image.

We spent the evening capturing a mix of playful moments and those quieter, more intimate in-between ones. The kind where they forget the camera is even there and just soak each other in. Those are always my favorite, and with Mark and Meghann, they came so effortlessly.

One of the things I love most about engagement sessions is how they give us time to connect before the wedding day. By the time August arrives, we won’t feel like strangers with a camera between us. We’ll already have that comfort, that trust, and that shared experience, which makes such a difference when it comes to capturing your wedding day in a natural and meaningful way.
